A Cheers to Burgers & Beers Kicks off 2011 NYC Food Film Festival!

The New York City Food Film Festival kicks off tonight with A Cheers to Burgers and Beers! If the fact that the public will be able to eat burgers approved by the hamburger expert and festival director, George Motz, or that the night will be the world premiere of The Burgerlution, isn’t enough to get you excited, the menu should be. First, all of the burgers are going to be made with grass-fed beef from Burger Maker, and a few different NYC burger joints, including Jimmy’s No. 43 and Bill’s Burgers, are coming out specially to celebrate the burger. Dessert will be provided by Brooklyn’s own, Ovenly.

It’s what will be wetting your whistle where things get really good. Once it became known that A Cheers to Burgers and Beers is in partnership with two of the best bars in the city, Jimmy’s No. 43 and Idle Hands Bar, it was pretty much guaranteed that the beer list was going to be phenomenal. Local favorites Brooklyn Brewery and Sixpoint will be on tap, along with some great brews from around the country including Lagunitas, Victory Brewing, Smuttynose, and Breckinridge! For those in the fall mood, Crispin Cider will also be on hand. This may be the best way to spend your Thursday night ever. For tickets to A Cheers to Burgers and Beers, click here.
