Though January 28th, 2012 may seem very far away right now, it’s really not. That is the given date for everyone in the world to enjoy a Midwinter Soup Frenzy! To help prepare for the day of soup-ing, filmmaker Simon Friedman made “How to Prepare for a Midwinter Soup Frenzy,” which NYC Food Film Festival will be showing during next Sunday’s Farm to Film to Table.

But the film’s not all, Simon’s also created a song and ringtones, our favorite of which simply being “Soup“.

There are worse ways to spend the coldest day of the year than making and sharing soup with friends.
