Tickets are now on sale for the 9th Annual Food Film Festival: NYC, benefiting The Billion Oyster Project. It’s the only Festival in the world where guests get to watch food films, then eat the food from the films…right in their theatre seats!

We are happy to announce the full event line-up taking place from October 22nd-25th. As always, each event ticket is all-inclusive of all films, foods and beverages. No, you do not need to also make a dinner reservation that night. You will go home full!

We are proud to announce our brand new home in NYC is the AMC Empire 25 in Times Square. Complete with a huge screen and massive terrace.

Tender: Stories of Love and Meat
Presented by Schweid & Sons 
Thursday, October 22nd, – 7 pm, (VIP Party at 6:30 pm)
Opening night features passionate stories of American meat. Special appearances by renowned Texas pitmasters Scott Morales of Taylor Cafe and Kent Black of Black’s Barbecue, from the film Central Texas Barbecue.  Pork stories from Maine to Oklahoma, as well as a visit to the Certified Angus Beef test kitchen.

Films: Central TX BBQ, Course of Food, Growing Local: Pig Not Pork, The Science of the Burger.
After-party featuring BBQ specialties by pitmasters Kent Black and Scott Morales. Plus smoked sausage from Kreuz Market, Certified Angus Beef sliders by Schnipper’s, pork tacos by Tortilleria Nixtamal and more!

The Food Porn Party

Friday, October 23rd – 7 pm, (VIP Party at 6:30 pm)
The Food Porn Party returns for another steamy night of extreme eats, close-ups, and food burlesque. Expect a visit from the World Famous Food Porn Star himself – Larry Caldwell, as well as tasty bites from Chef Amanda Cohen’s restaurant, Dirt Candy.

Films: Cocolo Ramen, Choco Thriller, Fork and Beans: Gluten-Free Moon Pie, La Botanique des Amours, Pasta with ratatouille, Ravioli Perfection, Rosemary Gin Smash, Slowberry, The Cut.
After-party featuring Ramen by Chef Yosuke Sumida from Berlin with Chef Keizo Shimamoto, creator of the famous Ramen Burger. Plus uniquely crafted ravioli and delectable treats by Top Pot Donuts, NY Distilling co. and many more.

Eat Your Movies! A Family Event
Saturday, October 24th – 12 Noon
For the first time EVER, the Food Film Festival has an event for the whole family! The afternoon will feature short films about kale smoothies, omelettes, goats, chocolate cranberry scones, and a puppet-musical about Milano Cookies starring Lolly Lardpop!
Films: Baby Got Kale, Chef Do Re Mi, Cranberry Choc Scones, Happy Goats Happy Cheese, Milano, Serenading the Cattle with My Trombone, Zergut
After-party featuring a special meet and greet with Lolly and Sesame Street Puppeteer, Leslie Carrera-Rudolph. Plus fun food activities and treats by Fishing Creek Creamery, Robicelli’s bakery and more. 

Edible Adventure #013: Hungry for Love
Saturday, October 24th – 8 pm, (VIP Party at 7:30 pm)
The 13th installment of the Edible Adventure Series features food films about matcha from Japan, soul food from Harlem and sweets from Brooklyn. The night also features an alarming but touching story of love and food in Hungry For Love, and a fantastic short from the Michelin-starred SoHo restaurant Uncle Boons.

After-party featuring a traditional matcha tea tasting by the family who created the Ippodo Company, Takoyaki by Chef Karl Palma, plus sweet and savory bites by Manna’s Soul Food, Liddabit Sweets and more!

Restaurant Revival: Jodie’s Diner (1989-2014)
Sunday, October 25th – 12 Noon
Jodie’s Restaurant, a beloved lunch counter in Albany, CA, closed on June 14th, 2014. Along with Jodie and his family, we’re bringing his restaurant and his life-long dream back to life for one day only in NYC. Grab a seat!
Film: Nothing with Something: Death of a Diner
After-party featuring a family-style brunch made with Jodie’s signature recipes and fresh pies from Pel’s Pie Co.

Festival tickets are all-inclusive of food, beverages, gift bag, and entry to film screenings. VIP Tickets and Festival-wide VIP Passes are also available, which include entry to a series of Pre-Parties and VIP Seating. The menus at each event include food celebrated in the films along with beer, wine, and select cocktail pairings by Festival Beverage Director Allen Katz, of the New York Distilling Company and The Shanty and Festival Beer Sommelier David ‘Rev’ Ciancio.
